Although every rental company has different inventory needs, we generally recommend beginning with 12 complete stanchions and 11 ropes. This creates a practical foundation for straight runs, entrances, displays, VIP areas and a variety of event layouts.

Quantities can be adjusted for your immediate needs. Some companies begin with a smaller first order, while established rental companies may continue purchasing complete stanchions or additional tube collections in batches as their local demand grows.

Expand with Decorative Aluminum Tube Collections

The primary advantage of this rental system is that your company is not permanently limited to the finish selected for its first set of stanchions.

At the time of your original purchase or later, you may add another collection of decorative aluminum tubes in any faux wood or faux marble finish currently in stock. These are aluminum tubes only and are designed for use with compatible Stanchion Masters® aluminum post components.

Each tube comes with the stainless steel pad eyes already installed. The tube can typically be changed in less than two minutes per post while continuing to use the same cast iron bases, full base covers, post tops and related components.

Adding another decorative tube collection is much more economical than purchasing another complete set of stanchions. The tubes also require far less storage room than duplicate bases and complete assembled posts.

Build Your Rental Inventory Over Time

A rental company might begin with Mahogany posts and Twisted Pro-Manila ropes for rustic weddings, wineries and outdoor events. Later, that same company could add another faux wood or faux marble aluminum tube collection for formal weddings, corporate events, galas, luxury properties or themed productions.

Recommended Rope Foundation

For a versatile starting inventory, we recommend 6-foot ropes that provide approximately 6 feet of spacing from post center to post center when properly arranged.

Twisted Pro-Manila Rope

Twisted Pro-Manila is an excellent first choice for faux wood stanchions. It delivers a natural rope appearance for rustic weddings, wineries, lodges, western events, outdoor celebrations and nature-inspired settings without relying on traditional natural-fiber manila rope.

Black Twisted Polyester Rope

Black twisted polyester can be added as the inventory grows. It provides a more formal and contemporary appearance and pairs well with nearly every faux wood and faux marble finish.

Additional rope colors may also be added later to support specialized events and décor packages.

Mill-Finish Stainless or Matte Black Hardware

Pad eyes and rope ends are available in natural mill-finish stainless steel or a matte black finish. Matte black hardware creates a coordinated contemporary look and may be the preferred choice for certain post colors and event themes.

For rental companies that frequently connect, disconnect, transport and handle their ropes, we generally recommend natural mill-finish stainless steel pad eyes and rope ends. Natural stainless steel does not show normal metal-to-metal contact and handling wear the way a matte black coating eventually may.

Matte black remains an attractive decorative option, but natural mill-finish stainless steel generally provides the most consistent long-term appearance for a heavily used rental inventory.

When available, these rental-grade tube specials can provide an economical way for event rental companies to begin expanding their decorative inventory. Availability, finish, quantity and the nature of the cosmetic imperfection will vary.

These specials do not include scratched customer returns, previously rented products or an exchange program. Inventory Builder Specials are offered only when suitable unused inventory is available and are sold as disclosed.
